Mouser - lots of everythingDigi-key - like Mouser, but often worse. Ships from Canada, though.Newark - similar to digi-key. Tends to be cheaper, but you have to buy in larger lots.BG Micro - surplusElectronic Goldmine - surplus. Cheap copper-clad boards.Sparkfun - hobby stuff. Lots of useful breakout boards.
Materials and Tools
Precise Bits - Drill bits and isolation routing suppliesFastenal - Fasteners, materials, mechanicalsSDP/SI - Drive components: gears, belts, pulleys, etc.VXB - BearingsENCO - Rods, bearings, tools.Online Metals - Metals and plastics, cut to size
