Forum feature request

Can we please implement a captcha for forum signup, or require mod approval for signup, we've had quite a number of spammy posts.

Looks like we're getting spam users on the wiki as well. Can we get something similar set up there, or do we have something set up for moderation? If they were editing pages I'd just revert, but they're making garbage users with garbage user pages that I don't think I can delete.

we might want to try a differnt captcha, maybe recaptcha or somehting? we're still seeing a lot of spam, I think I've banned 4 users and deleted their spamy posts this morning alone.

Apologies to everyone. I installed Recaptcha but did not activate it. It's up and running now. Lets see if this spam slows down

Maybe we should look at requireing admins to approve new members to the forum, as awesome as cataskefe (sp?) was, it would be cool if we tried to stop the spam a bit more.
