Poker Table

My poker table I built on impulse. Doesn't get used much anymore, perhaps it might be of more use to the space.

Perhaps the poker table could be donated to become the mackerspaces "board room" table . Could also have a poker tournament as a fundraiser for TechWorks. I have more than enough experience running poker tournaments to know how to get all the SLGA issues taken care of. And I know the iEEE Student branch has gotten even better at running them since we started them back in 2005ish. I'd bet there are others in this group that would have run a tournament more recently.

We could talk to Jared about another battery charger or something as a donated gift... we should talk to him to see if Battry Boys would sponsor of TechWorks. See if we can get a little cash or at least a deal on batteries custom built battery packs in exchange for a little advertising.

Holy crap I'm in love....

What was the total cost of the build? I built my own projector screen...I think this is next on my agenda for a "general" type build.

It cost me a couple of hundred only because I didn't look around for a good deal on the foam for the playing surface and bumper. You can cut the cost by making the table smaller and trying to find the cheapest foam. Maybe some places in town will give you offcuts for cheap.
