LED work lamp
Re: LED work lamp
Sure thing! i keep a logbook of most of my projects. For the hackerspace, it might not be a bad idea to have a wiki (that members can use to document) and maybe a shop digital camera (with a video mode) for adding photos etc.

Hey Andy I remember us talking about your constant-current power supply a while back...have you decided to build one or just get a wall wart?
Re: LED work lamp
i want to build one, a slight modification to the design will give a tunable constant current, meaning we can make a dimmer for the lights. i want a dimmer at least on the prototype because i honestly don't know how bright these LED's will be.

Whatever came of this?
Re: LED work lamp
Backburner, i need some 1W resistors (i only have 1/4W, and yes i know i can use some in parallel, but i'd rather have some 1W) and a 1A mosfet to finish this. also i need time. time is defiantly something im lacking at this point. will revisit after im done finals (april).
Re: LED work lamp
I have a huge pile of IRF540N, if that is useful.
