Physical space suggestions

Discussions on anything related to the evolving idea of Saskatoon's first "makerspace". What is a makerspace to you? What should it be called? What's the charter?

I heard through the grape vine that the building beside the 220 is owned by Grant Unrau of Stun Collective (http://www.stuncollective.com/talent/grant.html), and that he may be someone to talk to regarding space. My information is of questionable value, but I thought I would pass it along. I really like the idea of a centrally located space in Riversdale, but I would also like one that is not in the basement. Just because most of us are used to hacking in our own basements doesn't mean it should stay that way ;)

pretty sure you're right, thought I saw that name before, tagged in one of the pictures on the 220's facebook page: "Grant Unrau: neighbor of the Two Twenty, Collective Coffee backer, current landlord of Shift Dev't and, most importantly, designer of the "It's Good In The Hood" buttons."
