Re: Membership Definitions
Good point, I also misphrased a bit in that my intended suggested was 'the board a whole can veto' (if unanimous).

Re: If you were to run a workshop what would it be?
I'm all for a soldering tips and workshops. I can get by, but I'm by no means proficient. As far as a workshop idea that's becoming more apparent to me with the recent facebook discussion re: IRC ; An IRC workshop, introduction to those only barely (if at all) familiar with it. A bit of history (wik...

Re: Our First Meeting
Did anyone think to take a synopsis or meeting-minutes for last night, for those of us unable to attend?

Re: forum settings?
ps - I apparently confused matters over the past few days, with a poor grammatical choice in my post far above. I've edited it to reflect something a little more applicable, but I wanted to note that I'd done so - due to lack of history transparency.

Re: forum settings?
I'd also recommend at least a different icon-set, if not going for a different theme for phpbb altogether. While the icons for stickied / normal are pretty distinct, in the context of everything else going on in the theme, they tend to blend into one-another. (it may very well be the default theme f...

Re: Our First Meeting
Oh we should also decide upon (be it at the meeting, or prior to) the IRC channel we'll stick with. A handful (and that's like 4-5 people at best, two or three of whom co-seat with #protospace at that) of us have been idling in #saskhackspace - but I'm thinking #sktechworks or a variant of may be a ...

Re: Our First Meeting
er sorry about that, I meant to qualify that as 'show off existing, and toss ideas around for new' but not actually engage in new ones as of yet. I totally agree, and we'll end up like the monthly-meetings of the various linux-user-groups around the province :P The idea being to get people excited a...

Re: forum settings?
ahhh, combination of phpbb and the current the theme made me not realize that the top couple of threads were stickied. Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Our First Meeting
I think the charter can come later, first thing in my opinion being ; - ideas for individual or small-group projects to get people rolling. - ideas for larger group projects to bring the group together. - have people show off a few random ideas, in-progress or completed projects, etc. Get people int...
