Apparently my previous thread about the Bylaws are only on the old server. Some edits were only on the old server so a re-read would be appreciated.

I updated the Bylaws tonight so even if you have read them recently have a quick look. Changes are:
-Fixed error in Membership section
-Added extra stuff to membership section:
-vouching for new members
-grandfathering in those that pay in before first annual general meeting
-90 day probation as a non-voting member
-set the membership fees at each AGM
-reasons for membership to terminate: failure to pay fees,
-Rearranged the Board of Directors Section

MAJOR revision to the bylaws. rsilk or DigitalOSH can you lock it until after the next meeting?

It will likely need the odd amendment but hopefully it is good enough to vote on. By all means reply here with suggested amendments and I will try to work them together for the vote next week.

rsilk do we need to be submitting our bylaws to the corporate registry? I borrowed a clause saying we did from ENTS but I am not sure if that is an Alberta thing or if it applies to us too.

As far as I know we do not need to submit bylaws to the corporate registry.
