I started playing around with the idea of doing a techworks keytag/business card milled out of thin plywood. How do you feel about how this looks?

Would be cheaper and easier just to get paper business cards to give away.

something like this is well suited for a trade show table display or something like that, I don't think I'd use them as a "carry a stack around in my pocket" business card, but if we could work some sort of secondary use into the design (think bottle opener, comb, flashlight, whatever) they would be really cool freebies.

I was thinking more something to keep around the space for our open house, and the idea is for them to be keytags.

I don't have much to say about keytags (I'll think about it), but what about getting normal business cards printed? My printer can do 1000 for $65 (2 color). Anyone got a better quote? (I may switch if you do!)

Little off topic but would anyone have any use for these?
Brushed aluminum. Approx 4.625" x 1.3125" x 0.07", I have a couple hundred that I can give away. If you have the means to engrave them you could make some good tags or labels or whatever.

I think these would make good keytags... we could probably even cut them in half. We definitely have the means to engrave them. I'm sure we would find a use for them.
