We were chatting in IRC yesterday about how TechWorks should do a talk at BarCamp. This is the right kind of crowd for recruiting members and it would also be an opportunity just to get our name out there. We could even demo some of the smaller projects and larger projects could be covered in slides, if we wanted.
For those unfamiliar with barcamps, they have a goal not unlike our own; "to bring together people who love technology to talk and to learn".
So the first thing I recommend that everyone do is head over to the signup page (http://www.eventbrite.com/event/2111636963) and register. It's free and you get a t-shirt but space is limited, so do it now.
The next thing to do would be decide what we want to present and who wants to present. We can have as many presenters as we want, so don't be shy. I nominate Paul for the role of lead-talker-person.
