At the Dec. 7 meeting we also discussed tiers of members. The tiers we came up with are:
Board Members
Full Members
Guest Members
What privileges should be assigned to each? Who should be able to vote? etc.

Board members can veto, full members get a vote, guest members none of the above.

Straight veto's are a dangerous idea, with that a single person can squish an idea. commonly (in my experience anyways) the board members can overrule general council (regular voting members) with a 2/3s majority vote. standard voting is 50%+1 majority (in this case, all regular members get a single vote, for the purposes of a standard vote, board members are considered regular members).
just my 2c.

Good point, I also misphrased a bit in that my intended suggested was 'the board a whole can veto' (if unanimous).

It seems they give keycards to both Stakeholders and associates. We thought this may be too many keys floating around so might want to limit it to just stakeholders. Prices seem high for stakeholders too.
