Methods of Membership

In the last meeting we discussed membership models. The 3 we have had come up for vote were the following:
Invite-only membership: Any new members will need to have 2 sponsors. Once they have 2 sponsors they are permitted to become members.
Open membership: Anyone can join as long as they are willing to pay the $50/mo membership fee
Transition Model: Membership will be open at $10/mo before we actually have a space. Once there is a space and membership fees are raised to $50/mo any new members will need 2 sponsors and existing members will be grandfathered in.
Vote is open for 24 hours, vote changing is permitted.
