Starting a new Digikey group buy. Make yourself a sheet in the spread sheet like I did and start filling it out.
REMEMBER to use .ca and check that prices are CAD before you add them to the sheet. Saves confusion later.

I was going to order some external wall plug power adapters (120VAC - 12V DC) but they're actually rather expensive for the 1amp kind (around $11). I've found cheaper deals online at other places I think, although the shipping with digikey may trump those savings.

Thats a damn good deal! However, the comments seem to indicate its peak supply was 640mA instead of the 1000mA that it was rated for. DealeXtreme probably has the answer for me though so I'll keep looking there.

Have you checked Princess Auto? They usually have some dirt cheap wall warts.
Edit: Checked Princess Auto, they don't have any right now.
And yeah, digikey is expensive for common things like that.

I ordered 3 off of dealeXtreme. I'll test them out. I really need to hook up a GSM relay and find out what the maximum draw is...I'm going to guess that it doesn't get anywhere near 1 amp unless all 7 relays are active, and its transmitting and/or receiving something. I'll test the ones from dealeXtreme to see how close to 1 amp they can go without melting.
