Couple ideas I haven't had time to do up yet:

- Just a gear (like we're using as a placeholder, but higher fidelity)
- A closed fist, holding a wrench or screwdriver. In my head, it's in the style of an old soviet propaganda poster, like this: http://www.civilsociety.co.uk/images/th ... 50_250.gif

go all out communist throw back and use a bolshevik hammer and suckle, but a wrench and soldering iron on a red background?

I looooove both of these!

The first one looks like a pokeball. We should have Meowth as our mascot. I destitution to buy such a cat.

I also like both. I think the second one would be easier to recreate if we wanted to make more mugs, tshirts, pcbs, whatever, because it can be done in a single color (or 2) if needed.

I am not a huge fan o the first one. Not big on 3D logos.

The second one though I really like. A lot like our current one, but the logo and text feel like they belong together instead of being forced together.

I like the second one, but not a huge fan of the orange.

are we going to have a logo that we can use without text?

Holy cow do I ever love the second one. But ADDAndy's question is an important one. We need one we can use without text.
